Key Output

• A Technical Expert evaluating and processing all types of warranty claims against supplier warranty policies and guidelines to deliver end user and dealer acceptance.

• Control cost effectively on all types of warranty claims, suspense and debtors’ accounts effectively.

• Approve and process warranty claims and payments.

• Provide expert technical support for Warranty resolution and

• Provide feedback on warranty issues to business.

• Achieve warranty balance scorecard targets and KPI’s.

Qualification, Experience and Competencies

• Qualified Artisan. [Mechanic in relevant trade (e.g. Diesel Mechanic / Earthmoving Equipment Mechanic) with minimum 3 years post-apprentice/learnership experience.

• Applicable product knowledge, Basic financial management skills.

• Sound business communication skills – managerial and technical report writing skill essential.

• Sound interpersonal relationship skills.

• Computer Literate (MS Office & SIS ET).

• Problem solving and failure analysis skills, Warranty claim experience is an added advantage.

• Sound interpersonal relationship skills; Leadership Competencies.

• Understanding of supplier warranty systems.

• Sound understanding of Warranty policies & procedures.
