Key Output
• Monitor and control consumables in the tool store
• Ensure the availability of PPE and consumables
• Control and action orders for consumables from suppliers
• Manage and capture the issuing and collection of tools from the tool store
• Carry out regular tool inspection
• Assist in coordinating regular periodic inspections of lifting equipment
• Ensure that all the special tooling in the tool store is calibrated timeously
• Manage the reporting to damaged tools and replacements
• Ensure tool availability and regular stock count ,Effective communication
• Uphold safety and maintain good housekeeping
• Uploading of calibration certificates to the tool management system
Qualification, Experience and Competencies
• Grade 12 and sound MS Office knowledge
• Valid driver’s license
• Basic tool knowledge including specialized tools in the tool store
• Machine specific technical knowledge and skills
• Sound interpersonal and communication skills
• Basic business and financial understanding
• Applicable product knowledge
